Nova is still determined to bring down the Renegades. To do this she must get Ace Anarchy’s helmet out of Renegades Headquarters. To do this, her uncles instructs her to get close to Adrian, her Renegades teammate and the adopted son of two of the most famous Renegades.
Adrian is still searching for answers as to who killed his mother, Lady Indominable. After all, how does a superhero that can fly fall to their death? He thinks Nightmare or the other Anarchists have the answers. As the Sentinel, he’s determined to find the answer. But as Adrian, he’s falling for Nova.
Both are blissfully unaware of the other’s real identity. And as real sparks start to fly between the two, loyalties will be tested.
Oh my gosh! After the epic reveal at the end of the last book, I was super excited for this one, and it did not disappoint. This one had romance, intrigue, humor, and all the things I love about Marissa Meyer books.
And that ending! Meyer did it again. This one included a small cliffhanger and now I have to wait until November before it’s released. Of course, it will probably be December again before I get it in my hands.
Four Lightsabers to this one.
