Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Trailer

While not book related, this is Star Wars related, and I am, after all, the Jedi Librarian. A little less than 13 months to go folks.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Today we got our first look at Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is based on the book by Seth Grahame-Smith, and it features some kick ass ladies in fancy dress. Hey, the zombie apocalypse has been going on for decades and these girls are ready to fight. In the shot from EW, we see Elizabeth (Lily James), Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) with weapons at the ready.

“Even in the original story, Elizabeth’s a fighter and beyond her contemporaries in her ambitions and her ideas of women,” James told EW. “She’s a badass warrior. She’s a ninja.” How do you even do that in a corset?

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will hit theaters next year.
